Join Wull & Oak and Stylebook for our Community Clothing Swap with music, small bites, ethical fashion and a good time! Do you have nice clothing pieces that never see the light of day because they no longer fit or just don’t fit your life? Don’t let them languish in the back of your closet - bring them to the swap! Your unworn clothes could be someone else’s wardrobe staple! This is a one-for-one swap, with a limit of 10 clothing items per person. Nearly new clothing only - bring what you would want to find! This year we are also allowing up to 3 children's halloween costumes per-person at the swap.
Proceeds from the event are benefiting local non-profit, Seeds to Sew, an organizations that supports sustainable income for women and funds education for girls in rural Kenya.
Wull & Oak is overjoyed to have partnered with Stylebook - a closet app that will maximize the clothes you own and wear a good outfit everyday! The app’s easy-to-use tools will help you curate a wardrobe that you love, get dressed quickly, save money on clothes, and have fun with fashion. There are so many benefits to using Stylebook. Here are just a few: Know What You Own, Save Ideas When You Feel Creative, Plan What To Wear Whenever You Have a Free Minute, Save Time Getting Dressed and Love Your Outfits, Have Fun With Your Clothes Anywhere and Anytime, Save Money By Making Sure New Purchases Work With What You Have.
While at the event you have the chance to check-out our event partners Swap 4 Change - a local non-profit helping to support local stuff swaps. And Hue Studio Hopewell - a brand new personal color analysis studio right here in Hopewell Borough!
Your registration includes:
Access to the Community Clothing Swap event (maximum 10 items + 3 Children's Costumes)
10% off all Wull & Oak purchases for the day of the swap
A free piece of paper-bead jewelry from Seeds to Sew
Light refreshments
How it Works:
1. Purchase your registration (proceeds will be donated to Seeds to Sew)
2. Clean out your closet! Select a maximum of 10 women's clothing items + 3 children's Halloween costumes to swap at the event. Items should be in good condition/nearly new, clean, and should be something you would be excited to find at a swap.
3. Arrive by 12PM to check-in and drop off you clothing. The swap will start at 12:30PM. Come early for the best selection!
4. At the end of the swap, all unclaimed garments will be donated to the Hopewell Community Closet. Alternatively, you are welcome to take back your items if they are not claimed at the end of the event.
