For lovers of people, plants and place. Join us for a two-part land-making-community series - Here in the Valley: Native Garden Design Workshop led by Landscape Designer, Diana Boric of Día LandPractice.
Together, over breakfast pastries and beverages, we will explore the principles of ecological landscape design that support the biodiversity of the Hopewell Valley region. Learn techniques to observe and read the landscape, put pencil to trace paper and plot your next native garden project. You will develop a strong foundation in planting design and the use of native plants, while also sharing each other's experiences. With an emphasis on individual goals, participants will create a base plan for their property, consider plant selection, habitat and long-term care.
Designed for the home gardener, steward or eager beginner, this two-part workshop will help participants develop a deeper understanding of their landscape while coming together in community to learn and grow collectively.
