Natural fibers that are rapidly renewable, plant-based and have a more potential for circularity. Fabric selection affects how to wash the garment and potentially recycle it.

"Los Angeles brand Amente, was founded in 2018 by friends Rachelle (a designer) and Ziyo ( a buyer) who had both worked in the fashion industry for many years.

They wanted to create a brand that was timeless, long lasting and eco-friendly and decided to design smaller capsule collections rather that are all wearable together with their own easy style.

The Amente focuses on using sustainable fabrics in loose, comfortable feminine shapes.

They believe that fashion should not be easily disposable and rather be loved and carried through seasons and even years to come.

This is accomplished by using sustainable, plant-based fabrics and producing a high quality finish to their garments which are consciously crafted to last through countless wears and washes.
